Metaphhor  a commencé au milieu des années 90 en tant que groupe hommage à  Genesis .
Leur style, bien sur  Genesis 76 , mais aussi  Crucible , Clepsydra , avec mellotron 70's,
ambiances variées, beaux arrangements et excellentes mélodies à la fois légèrement
médiévales, rock, et complexes.
En 1999, Metaphhor a terminé l'enregistrement de son premier CD " Starfooted ".
Leur deuxième album " Entertaining Thanatos " est sorti en 2004, suivi de " The Sparrow "
en 2007. Ils sont de retour avec " The Pearl ", un autre album concept dans son style
habituel, avec des signatures changeantes, des ambiances variées et un esprit réfléchi.
