Kitaro de son vrai nom Masanori Takahashi est un musicien de
musique new age et d'ethnic-fusion, multi-instrumentiste, il joue
entre autres instruments, du synthétiseur et de la guitare électrique.
Un artiste au nombreuses facettes qui propose une imposante
discographie entre albums aux réelle dimension progressive
(symphonique, planant, floydien), et une autre plus new-age ethnique.
Un touche-à-tout, un génie symphonique qui a un goût prononcé pour
des mélodies sublimes, mélancoliques, émouvantes, aériennes ou orientales.
